Terracotta Rainscreen
How the TERRA-SCREEN™ Terracotta Rainscreen Façade System Works
The IFL TERRA-SCREEN™ Terracotta Rainscreen Façade System is a back-ventilated façade solution designed in accordance with the proven rainscreen principle, delivering effective moisture management, long-term durability, and high building performance. Unlike conventional solid wall constructions that rely on sealing and eliminating openings to resist water penetration, the TERRA-SCREEN™ system manages water by controlling air pressure, drainage, and ventilation behind the façade.
Designed for Longevity & Compliance
The IFL TERRA-SCREEN™ system is engineered to integrate with modern façade construction methods and complies with current UK Building Regulations when correctly designed and installed. It is suitable for use across: Residential developments, Commercial buildings, Mixed-use scheme and Educational and public sector projects
Integrated Design, Supply & Installation
Industrial Facades Limited provides full system support, including:

The TERRA-SCEEN Principle’s
Traditional façade systems attempt to keep all water out. In reality, wind-driven rain and moisture ingress are unavoidable.
The TERRA-SCREEN™ rainscreen façade works by:
Allowing controlled air movement behind the cladding
Equalising air pressure between the exterior and the cavity
Managing moisture through drainage and evaporation
Preventing water from reaching the inner building envelope
